Choice Neighborhoods Implementation Grants
EJP congratulates our current/former clients in successfully securing 2016 Choice Neighborhoods Implementation grants to implement their neighborhood Transformation Plans: Boston Housing Authority, Denver Housing Authority and the Louisville Metropolitan Housing Authority.

El Paso, TX
EJP, with assistance from Praxis, served as financial advisor to the Housing Authority of the City of El Paso on the largest RAD conversion in the country (14 sites bundled into one tax exempt bond/4% LIHTC deal). EJP continues to advise on HACEP’s 9% LIHTC deals as well.

November/December 2014 – HACEP develops first mixed-income community with help of LIHTC
EJP prepared a revitalization plan and successful HOPE VI grant application for the Trenton Housing Authority’s Rush Crossing project, and is currently serving as Program Manager for implementation of the FY10 HOPE VI grant.
EJP served as Program Manager for the Housing Authority of the City of Easton's HOPE VI grant.
January 2014 – Public housing hailed as a success amid criticism
EJP helped the Galveston Housing Authority and Texas General Land Office over the last few years negotiate and close on two controversial mixed-income, mixed-finance developments to replace units lost during Hurricane Ike.

EJP, as HOPE VI Program Manager, assisted the Bremerton Housing Authority finish out its final affordable phase of the master plan.

EJP is assisting the Hawaii Public Housing Authority with mixed-finance redevelopment of three sites with different developer partners.
January 2015 – State targets 6 acres in the Palama area for redevelopment
EJP served as the financial consultant, with Praxis as a subconsultant, to close this creative RAD conversion.
February 2014 – SNRHA Launches First-in-the-Nation Public Housing Transformation
EJP is pleased to announce that the Norwalk Housing Authority and the Norwalk Redevelopment Agency were awarded $30 million in 2013 CNI implementation funding. EJP wrote the successful 2010 CNI planning grant application, served as the Planning Coordinator, and prepared the 2013 CNI implementation grant application.
December 2014 – Local contractor sought to rebuild Washington Village
EJP and Praxis helped the Alaska Housing Finance Corporation (AHFC) evaluate their Anchorage public housing portfolio and as part of that, recommended that AHFC award Loussac 9% LIHTC to redevelop the site. EJP/Praxis also assisted AHFC in procuring the developer.
